Katie VanDyne

PhD Candidate | Spanish Linguistics | University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

Hello | Hola |

My name is Katie VanDyne (she/her). I am a PhD Candidate in Spanish Linguistics in the Department of Spanish & Portuguese at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My research is largely focused within the field of theoretical syntax, with overlapping interests in formal semantics, the syntax-semantics interface, morphology, and Romance Linguistics. As an instructor of Spanish language and linguistics courses, I enjoy sharing with students my sense of curiosity, humility, and excitement about the complexities of the nature, structure, use, and diversity of language.
